How to install and activate Kaspersky internet security?


Kaspersky Internet Security is an antivirus software that protects your computer from virus attacks, malware, spyware, and ransomware.  The Kaspersky antivirus is available for both  Windows and  Mac operating systems. Follow these steps to install Kaspersky Internet Security on your computer :

 

  • Before installing Kaspersky Internet Security, remove the existing antivirus application from your computer.
  • Check whether your system meets the requirements for installing the software on it.
  • For installing Kaspersky Internet Security 2017, your computer must have a 1GHZ processor, 2GB RAM, 920MB drive space, and the latest OS version.
  • You can install Kaspersky's product either by using the Kaspersky CD or downloading it from the Kaspersky official site.
  • Before downloading the Kaspersky software, you will be prompted to enter your email address for sending the  Activation Code.
  • After downloading the file, go to the  Downloads folder and double-click the downloaded file to run the setup.
  • Once the Kaspersky window pops-up, click on the  Install button.
  • When the  User Account Control(UAC) window appears, click on the  Yes button.
  • The Kaspersky product will automatically detect the incompatible software and display it on the installation window.
  • Select the software from the list and click the  Remove selected button.
  • When you receive the installation completed the message, click Finish.
  • Under the  Recommended section, mark the  “Enable protection against ads to install only desired software and block additional installations” checkbox and click the  Finish button.
  • Enter the twelve-digit Activation Code sent to the registered email account.
  • If you want to activate the trial version of the Kaspersky software, click the  Activate the trial version of the application link.
  • Else, select the Activate button.
  • Make sure to set the correct date and time on your computer before activating the license key.
  • Once again, the installation window will display the installation completed message.
  • Click the  Finish button and access the Kaspersky antivirus for real-time protection.
